We invite you to join a webinar, which will share current evidence, stakeholder perspectives and critical insights to inform Scotland’s educational future with AI.  

We ask: 

  • What are educational stakeholders’ views on whether AI-based teaching and learning tools can help address current challenges facing Scotland’s education system?  
  • Does Scotland have the right conditions for responsible and effective implementation of AI in schools?  
  • What are stakeholders’ views on both the benefits and risks from AI use in Scottish schools? 

Join the webinar for the public launch of a research report, commissioned by Winning Scotland and conducted by the University of Edinburgh, Educate Ventures Research, and the dots, which addresses these very questions.  

Drawing on evidence gathered across eight Scottish local authorities — including perspectives from school leaders, teachers, parents, and learners — the report examines Scotland’s preparedness to adopt AI tools.

Hear from key members of the research collaboration and the Scottish Government  – contextualising the findings against the recently published Scottish Government Guidelines and Guardrails on AI in Schools.  We also invite you to share your experiences and insights on the way forward.
