More Than Mindset – empowering teachers to inspire resilient learners
A professional learning programme equipping classrooms practitioners and school leaders with the skills and confidence to foster a growth mindset culture across their classrooms and school.
Programme Overview
More Than Mindset involves 150 hours of notional learning across four modules of blended approaches.
It is endorsed by Education Scotland, professionally recognised by the General Teaching Council for Scotland and accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University to carry 30 credits at level 11 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).

- Provide leadership in the development of growth mindset skills;
- Offer a transformational educational experience that is engaging, inspiring and challenging;
- Provide educational support, utilising a blended model of learning;
- Equip leaders and teachers with the knowledge and skills to develop a positive learning environment.

Course Descriptor
Each module complements the previous one, building a knowledge and understanding of growth mindset, followed by the application of a school based project, specifically designed to meet the needs of each individual school.

In 2024, Lornshill Academy in Clackmannanshire took a whole-team approach to improving school culture with the More Than Mindset programme.
